Getting our message out requires money which only comes with fundraising. We know money is scarce, but it is also necessary if we are to keep the destructive advances of the LePage agenda at bay.

Help is necessary and greatly appreciated to support these vital campaign resources:
** A Campaign Headquarters for our volunteers

Democratic Party Caucus - Sunday March 6th, 2016, Time: TBD

All registered Democrats are encouraged to attend and participate in a Democratic Party Caucus to be held for each town on Sunday March 6th, 2016. The place and time for your town are available here.

The caucus is a uniquely American institution in which citizens come together in order to select candidates for office, which are then to be presented to voters to choose with an election.

It is also a welcoming time in which Party members gather to trade ideas and to organize for the next two years. Delegates will be selected to participate and vote at the State Convention May 6-7, 2016 in Portland. The Portland convention will in turn organize and select delegates to represent Maine in the Democratic National Convention July 25-28, 2016 in Philadelphia.

We encourage anyone who would like to participate in the Democratic process, to learn about and work to make government better, to attend the caucus for their town.

Citizens may register to vote at the Caucus location on the day prior to the Caucus. Voters who have not enrolled in any party may also register as Democrats at the caucus location prior to the start of the caucus. A voter must also be 18 years old by the time of the General Election (November 8, 2016).
