Saturday, February 25th 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Annual Lasagna Dinner The supper gives local democrats an opportunity to get together and share good times. The food will be delicious, many candidates for the November elections will be there, and there will be much to discuss about important issues. Guest speakers will include Senator Johnson, Sam Spencer, of the Democratic National Committee, Representative Bruce MacDonald, District 61, and candidates for Maine State House of Representatives Mick Devin, District 51; Lisa Miller, District 52; and Joel Pitcher, District 50. The 50-50 raffle will also be held. Tickets will be sold at the door, and the winner gets half of the proceeds. Once again, homemade meat and veggie lasagnas will be prepared by Ellie Taylor, whose wonderful meals come from recipes passed down from her Italian grandmother. The menu also features Borealis Bakery bread, salad, punch, coffee and dessert, including homemade sinful chocolate treats! Everyone is invited. Admission is adults $12; children 5 to 12 years $6, under 5 free; and a family of four $30. All proceeds go to the Lincoln County Democratic Committee and are used to support local efforts. Anyone considering becoming a "host" for the dinner can do so for $50.
