Lincoln County Democrats Meeting - Monday July 20th, 2015
1. The ongoing investigation of Gov. Page’s involvement in the termination of the employment
contract of Maine House Speaker Mark Eves at Good Will-Hinckley. Senator Chris Johnson (D-Somerville) and
Representative Jeff Evangelos (I-Waldoboro/Friendship) will be on hand to describe the process and options pursuant
to our constitution’s impeachment provisions.
Rep. Evangelos is one of the original Independent, Republican, and Democratic legislators who requested an investigation by
the Office of Program Evaluation and Government Accountability (OPEGA); and Senator Johnson is a member of the bi partisan
Standing Government Oversight Committee, which voted unanimously to ask for an investigation and a report.
2. Caroline Ginsberg will also be there from Maine People's Alliance to provide an update about the signature gathering
campaign to put a citizens’ initiative raising Maine’s minimum wage on the ballot in 2016.

When: Monday July 20th 6:30 to 7pm Social Gathering, Meeting starts at 7pm. Refreshments will be available.
Annual Lobster Bake - August 15th - 12:00 Noon
Location: 331 Clark's Cove Rd in Walpole, Down the Road from Darling Marine Center (same as last year)

Boat departs from Rockland at 4 PM on Tuesday August 18th , 2015 and returns at 10 PM the same day.
