The Executive Committee shall advise and assist the Chair in the performance of duties. They may make recommendations directly to the County Committee, but have no power to bind the County Committee to final action. The Executive Committee shall have the authority to act for the full LCD Committee when the Committee is not in session. Majority decisions made by it must be ratified by the full Committee at its next regular meeting.

The Campaign Committee works directly on political campaigns; organizes and supervises office and staff; oversees voter ID calling, Get-Out-the-Vote, and canvassing efforts; finds and works with candidates and state Field Organizers.

The Finance Committee produces a two-year budget, oversees spending and sets fundraising goals.

Jack Kennedy (Chair)

The Fund-raising Committee manages the annual Frances Perkins Club fundraising drive and organizes special events to raise funds for the organization.

The Policy and Outreach Committee gathers information resources on issues and drafts policy statements representing the position of Lincoln County Democrats; facilitates opportunities for public policy discussions hosted by Democratic legislators or others; recruits interesting speakers for LCDC meetings and public events; organizes LCDC participation in parades, speaking before other groups, and other area events; and organizes special events such as award presentations to highlight LCDC volunteers and others; organizes public service projects.

The State Legislation Issues Committee gathers information resources on pending legislation and scheduled hearings, votes, etc. which provide Lincoln County Democrats effective opportunities to communicate their position; summarizing the impact of bills, as well as facts and reasons why the bills should be supported or opposed.

The Publicity Committee photographs LCDC events, volunteers, and Democratic candidates for publicity purposes; writes articles for local newspapers about LCDC activities and Democratic candidates; arranges for publicity using radio, TV and the web.

The Technology Committee provides technological guidance, assistance, and acquisition and maintenance of technological equipment, all in support of the work of other LCDC committees.
